Dual Camera
The short version: we collect nothing. Dual Camera has no account system, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no servers. Everything you capture stays on your device.
Dual Camera (“the app”) is built with your privacy as a core principle. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
1Data we collect
None. Specifically:
- No personal information
- No usage or analytics data
- No advertising identifiers
- No location data
- No data is sent to any server
2Camera & microphone
The app requires camera access to capture photos and videos, and microphone access to record audio with your videos. All camera and microphone data is processed entirely on your device. It is never uploaded, never shared, and never accessed by us.
3Photo library
The app requests write-only (add-only) access to save your captures to your Photo Library. We never read, browse, or access your existing photos.
4Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect, see, or store your payment information. Purchase receipts are verified locally on your device using Apple’s StoreKit 2.
5Local storage
Your purchase status is stored in your device’s Keychain, and a small capture counter is stored in the app’s local preferences. Neither contains any personal information and neither is synced or transmitted anywhere.
6Contacting support
If you email us from inside the app, your message is pre-filled with your app version, build number, device model, iOS version, and whether you have Pro — the details needed to answer you. This information is only ever sent if you choose to send the email, and it goes to our support address and nowhere else.
7Third-party services
The app uses zero third-party services. It is built entirely with Apple’s native technologies: SwiftUI, AVFoundation, Vision, Core Image, and StoreKit 2. The app works completely offline.
8Children’s privacy
The app does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 — because it collects no information from anyone.
9Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
